Equity Environmental Engineering LLC seeks a Field Technician (0-3 years of experience) for its Mount Olive, NJ location.
Responsibilities for the position are:
Work within a team environment to: Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments; Groundwater, soil, surface water, soil vapor, and indoor air sampling at various project locations; Oversee soil boring and monitoring well installations; Soil boring log and monitoring well construction diagram preparation; Review of analytical data and preparation of data tables; Assistance with report and proposal preparation; Conduct noise studies and traffic counts in support of environmental assessment statements. Adherence to our and clients’ Health & Safety requirements at all times; Preparation of field notes for all work; Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather primarily in New Jersey and New York City. Physical ability to carry equipment (sometimes heavy).
Position requirements:
Minimum educational requirement of an Associates degree in STEM Area with 0-3 years of experience;-relevant field experience a plus; OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training and current 8-Hour refresher preferred; Excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skills; Good mechanical skills; Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
Employment is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test and a pre-placement medical evaluation that determines candidate’s ability to perform the proposed job duties. Candidates must present documentation that confirms identity and eligibility for employment in the United States.
Salary is commensurate with experience. In order for us to grow at a rate to meet our corporate goals, we are seeking a full-time Marketing Manager with four to seven (4-7) years of professional experience to join the Equity team and direct our marketing efforts.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage administrative staff participation
- Represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates
- Establish programs to accomplish marketing-related aspects of the corporate mission
- Assist with marketing budget development and marketing plan development
- Develop and manage the client-contact program and work with principals to secure new clients and projects
- Manage qualifications, proposals, and presentation activities
- Work with technical staff to develop proposal sections and scopes of work
- Responsible for overall marketing staff training and marketing-related technical staff training
- Manage collateral materials development, public relations, and advertising programs, corporate identity development, and implementation, special events, direct-mail programs, social media, and market research activities
- Actively involved in professional and community organizations
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a discipline associated with marketing with 4 to 7 years of experience recommended, or 6 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals
- Good mentoring/teaching abilities and leadership/managerial skills
- Highly competent in marketing theory and practice
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional relationship skills
- Self-starter, independent, proactive, and needs minimal supervision
- Effectively manages multiple tasks and manages priorities within deadlines
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook are essential to support a collaborative work environment
