On-Call Environmental Consulting, Malaga, NJ
Equity was responsible for the investigation of and remediation of an ISRA Site in Malaga, New Jersey. Prior to Equity‘s involvement, the case was entered into direct NJDEP oversight. Equity’s LSRP has been able to work with the NJDEP and FMC to ensure an efficient remediation.
We utilized compliance averaging and 75%/10x rule to determine the volume of soil requiring active remediation; Used statistical analysis to determine that the pesticide concentrations in groundwater were stable to decreasing, and used this information in concert with creation of impervious cover and the SPLP (Synthetic Precipitate Leachate Procedure) test to determine where soil excavation was needed for Pesticides. Equity’s LSRP negotiated scopes of work with NJDEP. Remediation of soil was completed, and the RAR (Remedial Action Report) was submitted.
A Deed Notice, RAP for soil, MNA for groundwater, a RAP for groundwater, and medium-specific RAOs are in progress.
